Frequently asked questions
How do I get started with Woofy?
Create your dog’s profile with their name, arrival date and, if you wish, their breed and photo. The five tabs then bring together the daily home screen, journal, progress, health and settings.
Can I manage more than one dog?
Yes, with Woofy+. In Settings, open My Dogs and tap Add a Dog. Each profile keeps its own journal, progress, health information and reminders.
How do I tell the day’s story with Woofy AI?
From Home or a new journal entry, choose a photo and select a heartwarming, funny or adventure style. Always review and edit the draft before saving it. Woofy+ includes three generations per day.
What can I do in the journal?
Add up to five photos to a day, rearrange them, choose a category, edit the story and find memories by keyword, date or calendar. Woofy also saves an unfinished draft automatically.
How do GPS walks work?
Start a walk from Home, then use Pause, Resume and Finish. Woofy saves the route, duration, distance, average speed, up to five photos and your own notes. Your first walk is complimentary; further walks require Woofy+.
How do I follow progress and growth?
The Progress tab brings together training, toilet training, firsts, badges and growth measurements. Same Pose helps you photograph your dog regularly from a similar angle.
How do health records and reminders work?
In Health, add a vaccination, treatment or vet appointment. Woofy can create calendar events and, with Woofy+, schedule local notifications. Woofy is never a substitute for veterinary advice.
How do I restore a permission I declined?
Open iPhone Settings, find Woofy and allow access to Photos, Camera, Location, Calendars or Notifications. Background location is used only while a walk is in progress.
How do I share a family journal?
The Woofy+ owner opens Settings, then Collaborative Family Journal, and sends an iCloud invitation. Invited family members do not need a second subscription.
Who can comment and react?
In a shared Woofy+ journal, every member can comment on a photo or walk and leave a reaction. The name shown beside each contribution makes it clear who responded.
What is the difference between collaboration and a full copy?
Collaboration keeps the family journal in sync through iCloud. Export creates a one-off archive that you can store or send; it does not update automatically.
How do I restore or manage Woofy+?
Open Woofy+ and choose Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account. Manage My Subscription opens Apple’s page, where you can change or cancel your plan.
How do I change the interface colour?
In Settings, open Appearance and choose the orange, blue, pink, red, yellow or grey dot. Every theme automatically adapts to Light and Dark Mode and remains specific to that iPhone.
How do I change the language?
Woofy follows the language selected for the app in iOS Settings, Woofy, Language. French, English and Dutch are available without affecting your data.
Where is my data stored?
Your data remains on the device and in your iCloud space when synchronisation is enabled. Only Woofy AI sends a reduced copy of a photo, with your consent, to the secure service that creates the draft.
How do I delete a profile or ask for help?
In Settings, select the dog and choose Delete Profile; a two-step confirmation protects this irreversible action. For a bug or suggestion, use Send Feedback or the website contact form.
